Marie Masud is the founder of Medical Billing Specialist LLC. She is a graduate of Michigan State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After undergraduate school, Marie completed her Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Michigan School of Nursing. She was involved in starting the first Critical Care and Neuro Intensive Care Units in Saginaw, Michigan. Marie also worked for five years as the Hospital Nursing Administrator in Chicago before returning to her home state of Michigan, where she started Medical Specialists Billing.

Lisa Klein is a graduate of Saginaw Valley State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management. She took her CPC exam in 1994 at Chicago and is a Certified Procedural Coder. She has been with MSB over twenty years and has become the senior most staff member, under Marie. Lisa has numerous managerial duties, including supervising all personnel, providing computer support for both in-house and client scheduling programs, and auditing all billing.

Our Team

We consider our staff to be a lean, mean billing machine. Our coders are are assigned to specialties and become experts in their respective areas. In addition to their billing responsibilities, they also enroll in continuing education that keeps them current in the ever changing regulations and technologies of medical billing. Whether you are a certified coder or not, our staff must be enrolled in our continuing education program. Staff members who are not certified must also show progress towards obtaining their certification. From our courier to our receptionists to our coders, Medical Specialists Billing values its employees and integrates their individual roles so that we operate as a whole.
